Netflix (NASDAQ: NFLX) has another gritty, well reviewed show on it’s hands with “Jessica Jones.” The hits keep coming and the stock keeps rising, leaving those who chose to bet big on Netflix at the beginning of the year increasingly happy. That would leave most people to think that they are in the perfect position to continue their rise, as more and more people cut the cord and turn to internet based television. But, there are other things to consider. For one, I think we have reached superhero saturation point. If I see another X Man, or Spiderman or Batman or Marvel character I think I might throw up. And I used to be a fan! I swear I’m not trying to sound like Clint Eastwood in that movie where he plays an old racist. I am young, into movies and virile, and I still can’t stand this crap. The fact that Netflix has entered the fray is a bad sign to me, as I think we might be at peak superhero. Furthermore, the boosts in stock seem out of line with the real quality of their shows. Daredevil was just okay, and House of Cards is overrated in my opinion. They might be gaining viewers, but if they don’t find some megahits, people will stop paying. I still think network TV is dead, but I'm not convinced Netflix is the best solution
